A traditional afternoon tea is one of the best ways to treat yourself, friends and loved ones.
Relax and indulge your senses as you enjoy a beautifully balanced mix of sweet and savoury delights, created in our kitchens by our amazingly talented specialist pastry chef. A choice of tea and coffee is served in the quintessentially English style using delicate china cups.
Served in the stylish, Victorian-era dining room of our 19th century manor house, where you can look out of ceiling height windows over our charming grounds and gardens – with views of our ornamental lake – Farlam Hall is the perfect setting for a tradition that dates back to the 1840s, recapturing the bygone pleasures of the age.
Weather permitting, you can also sit on the outside terrace in the fresh air and sunshine, enjoying the beautiful countryside, with views of the house and gardens.
Every afternoon tea at Farlam Hall is homemade and crafted with the greatest care and attention to detail by our chefs using the freshest of ingredients, all locally sourced wherever possible. Choose from a Traditional Afternoon Tea, as well as a Vegetarian, Diary-Free and Gluten-Free Afternoon Teas – or for added indulgence add a glass of prosecco or champagne. There is also the option for younger guests to enjoy a Children’s Afternoon Tea, including sandwich, cake and ice cream. We can accommodate bookings of all sizes from couples to larger groups – please advise any special dietary requirements at time of booking.
