A wonderful day out is always a sure bet at Carlisle Racecourse, just 15 minutes away in the village of Blackwell. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Lake District, this thoroughbred horse racing venue hosts flat racing in the summer and National Hunt racing in the winter.
