Every week, our talented kitchen team put together a new dinner menu of the most superb modern British cuisine. Our team is led by executive chef Steven Pott, a multiple rosette winner who heads up a group of highly experienced and creative chefs, utilising the finest local ingredients to create mouthwatering dishes.
Fresh local produce from trusted suppliers is at the heart of our menus, and may include delicious wild-fed beef from Houghton, game from West Cumbria, day-bought fish from the North East coast, pork from Greystoke, even herbs from our own herb garden – we use the best quality seasonal produce to help bring you the very best of British food.
With more than 40 consecutive years in the Good Food Guide, and 3 red stars and an inspector’s choice award in the 2020 AA guide, our restaurant has an already stellar reputation. Our ambitious team are determined to build on this, with their passion for their craft and for quality fuelling a drive for constant improvement.
The Farlam Hall dining experience is open to all, bringing you high-end dining in a stunning setting at a reasonable price.
Sitting 6.30pm-8.30pm, a four course dinner of starter, main, cheese and dessert is served, with each dish receiving the greatest of care from kitchen to table. Our front of house team will look after you from arrival, offering freshly made canapes ahead of dinner, and can recommend the perfect accompaniment to your meal from a comprehensive wine list.
Handmade petits fours accompany tea and coffee to round off a wonderful dining experience.
Fine Dining at Farlam Hall is just £49.50 per person, with vegetarian options available on our menus, and dairy and gluten-free as standard. We can meet all dietary and allergy requirements; with advance notice we can build options around your needs.
